The Emir of Zuru, Muhammad Sanusi Mikailu Sami, has received a delegation from Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) in Zuru during a traditional palace meeting aimed at strengthening interfaith harmony and community cooperation.
The visit took place at the royal palace in Zuru, Kebbi State, where leaders of the church paid a courtesy call to the Emir to extend their greetings and reaffirm respect for the traditional institution.

During the visit, members of the church delegation expressed appreciation to the Zuru Emirate for its sustained efforts in promoting peace, unity, and mutual understanding among people of different religious and cultural backgrounds across Zuru and neighbouring communities.
Speaking on behalf of the church leadership, Pastor Musa Jada commended the Emirate for its inclusive leadership and consistent support to faith-based communities in the area.

Pastor Jada said the church leaders were particularly encouraged by the Emirate’s commitment to peaceful coexistence, noting that the royal institution has continued to play a stabilising role in fostering religious tolerance and community development.
He expressed the church’s gratitude for the Emirate’s support and assured the traditional ruler that the Christian community would continue to pray for peace, progress and unity in Zuru and beyond.

Responding, the Emir of Zuru welcomed the delegation and expressed delight over the visit, describing it as a reflection of the strong relationship that exists between the traditional institution and religious communities in the emirate.
The monarch emphasised the importance of peaceful coexistence, unity and respect among followers of different religions, stressing that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and cooperation.

He therefore urged residents of Zuru to continue living together in harmony while supporting initiatives that promote peace and collective progress in the community.
As a gesture of goodwill and support, the Emir presented the church delegation with five bags of rice and five gallons of cooking oil to assist them in continuing their community and religious services.
