Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Umar Ganduje, recently met with his successor, Nentawe Yilwatda, to express his condolences on the loss of Yilwatda’s mother, Mama Lydia. Ganduje, who served as the governor of Kano State, visited Yilwatda on Wednesday, August 27, to offer support after Mama Lydia’s passing on August 17 in Jos, Plateau State. She was 83 years old and died at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH).
A respected Christian leader and a prominent figure in the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Mama Lydia was instrumental in promoting church activities alongside her late husband, Reverend Toma Yilwatda, across Borno, Yobe, Bauchi, and Plateau States.
