The Katsina State Commissioner for Education Zainab M Musawa on Thursday received the Rector of Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management, Dr. Musa Ahmed Zayyad, on a courtesy visit at the Ministry’s Conference Hall.
Discussions at the meeting focused on strengthening collaboration to improve computer literacy, creativity, and digital skills among teachers across the state.
The Commissioner assured that the Ministry would commence the rollout of a new curriculum implementation plan, including training programmes for staff and teachers, between now and September.
In his remarks, Dr. Zayyad reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to supporting the state in capacity building for teachers, stressing that digital skills and innovation remain central to modernizing the education sector.
