Senator Leads Condolence Visits, Describes Deaths as Great Loss to State and Party

Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, representing Sokoto South Senatorial District, has condoled with families and communities in Dange/Shuni over the passing of two prominent political figures: the late PDP Chairman of Dange/Shuni Local Government,
Alhaji Muhammad Sahabi Dange, and the former Deputy Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Buhari Bello Dange.

The former Sokoto governor, who led a delegation of PDP state executives, visited the palace of the District Head of Dange, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Dange, where he described the death of Alhaji Sahabi as a “great loss to the party and the people,” lauding his dedication and service.

He prayed for Allah’s mercy on his soul and urged the family to find comfort in his legacy of commitment and loyalty.

In a separate condolence visit, Tambuwal also sympathized with the family of the late Rt. Hon. Buhari Bello Dange, noting his contributions to the state legislature and his representation of the Dange Constituency during his tenure as Deputy Speaker. Special prayers were offered for the repose of his soul.

The visits drew together political leaders, traditional rulers, and community members who described the deaths as a double blow to the people of Dange/Shuni and the PDP in Sokoto State.
