President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the deployment of additional security measures to Katsina State in response to rising insecurity in the region.

The order followed a high-level meeting at the Presidential Villa with Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda and a delegation from the state, during which they appealed for urgent federal intervention to curb escalating criminal activities threatening lives and livelihoods.

President Tinubu assured the delegation of his administration’s commitment to restoring peace and stability in Katsina, emphasizing that safeguarding citizens remains a top priority of the government.
