Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has faulted the overreliance on kinetic measures in tackling insecurity, stressing that the deployment of firearms alone cannot bring a lasting solution to the menace confronting the country.

The governor maintained that addressing insecurity requires a multi-dimensional approach that goes beyond military action to include dialogue, economic empowerment, and social justice.
Sani, who spoke against the backdrop of persistent security challenges in the North, said Nigeria must embrace strategies that address the root causes of violence, including poverty, unemployment, and lack of access to education.
