The Kebbi State Police Command has elevated thirty-seven senior officers to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), in a ceremony held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Commissioner of Police, CP Bello M. Sani, who presided over the decoration, congratulated the officers on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun. He urged them to remain disciplined, uphold professionalism, and respect citizens’ rights while discharging their duties.
The CP further admonished the officers to steer clear of corrupt practices and unethical conduct, stressing that the promotion was both a reward and a call to greater responsibility.
Speaking on behalf of the newly decorated officers, DSP Ahmed Abubakar expressed gratitude to the Inspector General of Police and the Police Service Commission for the recognition. He pledged that the promotees would remain committed to service and integrity in the line of duty.
The event was witnessed by the CP’s management team, families, friends, and well-wishers of the newly promoted officers.
