Norther Nigeria’s pride on the global stage, 17-year-old Nafisa Abdullah Aminu from Yobe State, has paid a courtesy visit to Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami to present her international award and appreciate his mentorship.

Nafisa, a student of Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC), recently emerged as the world’s top performer in English Language skills at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals in London, beating 20,000 contestants from 69 countries, including native English-speaking nations.

During the visit, Nafisa expressed her gratitude to Pantami for his mentorship and requested continued guidance both religiously and academically.

Pantami commended her parents, teachers, and guardians, and in recognition of her feat, presented her with a high performance HP laptop, mentorship books, and life tips.
He further encouraged her to pursue her education up to PhD level, emphasizing the urgent need for more excellence in female education.

Nafisa’s success is widely hailed as proof that Nigerian students can excel on the global stage when given the right support and mentorship.
