Benue State Governor, Reverend Father, Hyacinth Alia has stressed the importance of collective effort in enhancing democracy and securing a prosperous future for the state.
Gov Alia who made the assertion in an address delivered at the Extended All Progressives Congress,APC,Caucus Meeting in Makurdi, expressed gratitude to party members for their unwavering support and commitment to the development of Benue.

According to Governor Alia,the APC Caucus Meeting welcomed party leaders from the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, African Democratic Congress,ADC, and Labour Party,LP, along with their supporters, who defected to the APC.
He highlighted the principles of collaboration and leadership as a major aim to make Benue one of the thriving states in Nigeria.
The governor reported significant developments in the state, including a noticeable decline in insecurity in local governments due to collaborative efforts to restore peace as well as announced provision of funds and resources to support farmers to foster sustainable development in agriculture.
Governor Alia also emphasized the importance of quality education for future generations and announced extensive renovations in primary schools.
He reassured party members of the administration’s commitment to transparent governance, citing timely salary payments as evidence of dedication to the common people.
The governor extended his gratitude to the Women’s Leader for articulating the needs of women and pledged to advocate for initiatives that directly benefit this demographic as well as,
expressed profound appreciation to the Central Working Committee, led by Honorable Chief Benjamin Omale, for their commitment to strengthening the APC in Benue.
