The Zuru Emirate Progressive Forum (ZEPF), residents of Birnin Kebbi and environs, has commended Governor Nasir Idris, Garkuwan zuru, for the warm reception accorded to the Emir of Zuru, His Royal Highness Muhammad Sanusi Mika’ilu Sami Gomo III, during his thank-you visit at the Presidential Banquet Hall in Birnin Kebbi.
In a statement signed by the Forum’s Public Relations Officer, Dr. Lai’atu Augustine Bamaiyi, the group described the visit as historic and a further consolidation of the cordial relationship between the Kebbi State Government and the Zuru Emirate.
The Forum applauded Governor Idris for his administration’s developmental strides, especially in road construction and other projects benefiting Zuru communities.
It also appreciated members of the Forum for their overwhelming support to the Emir before and after his enthronement, urging them to sustain unity and loyalty.
The statement further called on Zuru indigenes to continue supporting the Emir and the government in advancing peace, harmony, and sustainable development across the state.
